# JamFlow Song Pack format (v1)

JamFlow Song Packs are intentionally plain Markdown so a human can read them and an AI model can generate them reliably.

## Rules

- `# EVENT` is optional.
- Every song begins with `# SONG: Song title`.
- Every song part begins with `## Part name`.
- Part names are free text. JamFlow understands common labels such as Chorus, Verse, Bridge, Hook, Pallavi, Anupallavi, Charanam and others.
- `repeat` defaults to `1` and JamFlow currently accepts 1–8.
- `include` defaults to `true`; `false`, `no`, `skip`, `exclude`, and `0` are treated as excluded.
- Put directives immediately after the part heading and before lyrics.
- `### Roman` marks optional alternate-script/transliterated lyrics.
- Songs and parts are interpreted in file order.
- JamFlow validates and previews an import before applying it.

Organizers do not need to memorize this syntax. The Studio can copy a complete ChatGPT prompt that teaches the format automatically.
